Legendary wrestler Rustam-e-Hind Mangla Rai was born in the month of October, in a Bhumihar Brahmin family of Joga Musahib Village in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. His father Ramchandra Rai and his uncle Radha Rai, were also well-known wrestlers.
