In July of the National Lottery Third World Steel Orchestra was formed and Goddard was their arranger. He put his mark on the steelband’s hits like ‘Gold’ and ‘American Patrol’ which were big hits. In his works Goddard was the first to introduce the synthesiser to calypso.
